MARCH is officially your one stop shop for everything you need to make a statement... down to your manicure! As you may have gathered from the appearance of the "mani cam" at the Oscars this year, being a certified fashionista no longer stops at keeping up with the latest runway trends or your fave fashion blog. In order to be a well rounded style connoisseur one has to be well polished from her head to her toe...nails. Being adept in nail art is just one more way to to personalize your look these days. And to help you add that extra oomph to your wardrobe, MARCH is bringing to its customers nail lacquer from a.dorn. Based in Orange County, California a.dorn creates all its polishes vegan and cruelty free, without toluene, DBP, formaldehyde or any of those other harsh chemicals that overtime can seriously mar that mani. From brilliant reds to muted violets and grays, we have colors for every look (on display now!)
Our customers know how we feel about a great, quality tank-top here at MARCH. The right texture or color can bring an entire outfit together. Whether you're looking for a little extra warmth during the approaching fall season or just to tie an outfit together, we have the tank for you! A flattering round neckline and soft feel makes this machine washable, bamboo tank a practical yet fashion forward buy. In beautiful grays, charcoals and browns, sustainability never looked so good!
All summer long, we've been bringing you ladies our latest in fun, fresh designs and one of a kind jewelry. Unfortunately, as our recent farewell party for our MARCH girls leaving for college reminds us, summer doesn't last forever and neither should your favorite sleeveless neon top. It is officially time to venture into the uncharted territory that is mid september to november... the transition weeks. But have no fear! BB Dakota is making this year's switch more than easy with its flirty new fits and sophisticated patterns. Weather the storm in the sleeveless knit Feya bodycon or the beautiful floral Reena dress!
We just couldn't wait to show you what turned up on our most recent jewelry hunt in NYC. As happy as we are with the array of fabulous designers we have come to rely on for our fashion needs here at MARCH, we know as well as the next girl that sometimes you need a style wake-up call. And there's only one place to accomplish this fashion feat...(we'll give you a hint: it's the fashion capital of the world). Dipping into eclectic shops in the nooks and crannies of NYC proved to be just what we needed as it turned up the beautiful gems pictured below. The best part about DIY buying and shipping...all pieces are 35$ and under!
This years #1 athletic-wear trend has finally made its way to the Trina Turk collection and we couldn't be happier here at MARCH. All year long, neon yellows, pinks and greens were doomed to exist only as accents on your favorite gym socks or that one Nike sports bra. But fortunately for us, our beloved Trina has found a way to bring neons into a new light. These striking, silk tops will command attention in any room. Pair them with a black and white bottom for a pop of color!
From NYC to Briarcliff Manor: MARCH shoppers get excited about the latest in New York trends If you're anything like us MARCH girls, your Sunday morning coffee probably isn't complete without a copy of New York Times "Style" section in your hand. This past week, you may have caught a glimpse of Bill Cunningham's "On The Street" column, which featured a story on 18 Australian tourists dressed head-to-toe in Holly Golightly costume outside NYC's Tiffany & Co. in order to coincide with the recent all-black trend in New York. But the Audrey craze is by no means limited to 5th Avenue--or New York City, for that matter. Here at MARCH, we often have beautiful ladies come in rocking the timeless look. We got inspired by one shopper in particular, who's Audrey-esc outfit inspired us to write this post. Look below to compare the NYC and B-cliff versions of this iconic trend. And feel free to come in to the store to make this look your own!
To celebrate our newest shipment of MARCH jewelry this week, we decided to feature one of our favorite jewelry designers: Katie Waltman. A long-time friend of MARCH, Waltman's passion for jewelry and exceptional taste has been the foundation for her ever-growing, Salt Lake sourced jewelry empire. We are so lucky to be in cahoots with such a fab lady! From vivid geodes to radiant metals, come into the store today and check out Waltman's new summer line in all its stylish splendor.
Every fashion forward gal knows that trends come in cycles. Once a trend hits, it is only a matter of time before it strikes again: bigger, badder...and retro! If you thought you had seen the last of harem pants after M.C. Hammer left the airwaves, think again. Harem pants are trendier than ever, and MARCH has them in this season's most popular prints. Check out our floral harems from Greylin, or our black and white print from Joseph Ribkoff. These easy and fun pieces go perfectly with a strappy sandal or wedge.
Contrary to what your recently-watched section on Netflix might suggest, black is the new black! Well, black and white that is. If you've been in the store within the past couple of months, you might have noticed our floor being increasingly taken over by the spring trend that has become a summer must-have: black and white is back...and it's here to stay. Check out our Lily and Migs key-hole back, striped top paired with 4our Dreamers jacket for a sophisticated yet light summer look.
