Over the past year, the 5k event called The Color Run has become increasingly popular. During this fun race, at each kilometer, runners are doused with colored powder and by the end, everyone is covered from head to toe in fun, bright colors. Though this does sound extremely fun, it isn't that practical when you want to add some color to your outfit. At MARCH, we gravitate more towards accessories that will add that same pop of color you are looking for without ruining your clothes!
Staring with a basic (1.) white tank with a square neckline is the equivalent of a painter starting with a blank canvas–you can choose the color palette you want and work from there accessorizing and dressing yourself, something that can be annoyingly difficult and frustrating each morning. This beautiful Eva Franco (2.) blue tie-dye pencil skirt is extremely flattering and just the right length so that you can show some leg and bend over to fix your shoe strap without having to give the whole world a show. Orange is such a great color that compliments blue and it is also a perfect summer color. Adding some fashion jewelry not only brings everything together, but it also adds more interesting elements to an outfit. This (3.) bright orange statement necklace and (4.) orange elephant cuff go perfectly with the skirt and top and add a new (5.) Trina Turk art deco cocktail ring (that come in so many fun colors) to put together all of the color you need for an outfit! Finally, a (6.) neutral clutch to hold all of the necessities, including some bright lipstick to add the final touch of bright color!
